Booking strategy

Book the Drach entry time first

A Drach Caves visit takes about an hour, with a fixed ticketed entry time. Book a slot before planning the drives around Porto Cristo and arrive at least 15 minutes early.

Access strategy

Use the bus for the northern lighthouse

Formentor belongs to the four- and five-day plans. From May 15 to October 18, 2026, staged vehicle restrictions apply from 10:00 to 22:00. Check DGT and TIB 334; the lighthouse is not shown as a driving route.

Cove strategy

Arrive early at Caló des Moro; use an official Es Trenc entrance

Caló des Moro requires about a 1 km walk from Sa Comuna parking. Es Trenc is a protected park: use signed parking and paths. If your return flight is early, choose one beach.

Day 1 assumes a full sightseeing day. After a late flight, stay in Palma and start the next morning.
The three-day plan skips Formentor; four and five days use the bus for the lighthouse. The Caló des Moro marker is the walking destination; driving navigation leads to Sa Comuna parking.
